Backyard Safari Outfitters - Review

Thanks to Team Mom and Backyard Safari Outfitters, M and B have been "exploring" the backyard for hidden treasures (ie. lady bugs, worms, rocks, etc:)  We received the Backyard Safari Outfitters' Cargo Vest, Bug Vacuum and Mega-View Periscope.  We attached the Periscope to the eagle's nest on the swing set and they love looking through it and relaying back and forth what they see.  B will say to M "I see a butterfly with 2 different wings," for those of you who have viewed Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, you know exactly what I am talking about:)  Since B is really into Pirates right now, his usual phrase is "Land, straight ahead!"

With the Bug Vacuum, M and B chase the thousand of bugs that live in our backyard and suck them up.  The great thing is that they can learn about the bugs that they catch, but then let the go with the catch and release cores.  Such a great learning tool!  I get to teach M and B about the bugs, but I don't have to touch them:)

The cargo vest is the most essential piece of field gear and it shows!  The reason that it's the most important...or so it seems, is that M and B are always fighting over who gets to wear it:)
