We Craft For You - Review & Giveaway

Don't you just love it when someone does the work for you? I know that I do and that's why I am showcasing We Craft for You! Thanks to We Craft For You, I was able to receive their newest product! Like I have said in the past I am always looking for a way to "go green" and what better way than a Virtual Holiday Card! (I was sent the 60 second Holiday Card.) Think about it...no paper to place in the garbage or recycle bin, for that matter, and no postage to be placed on the card! It's a win, win situation for me.

Last year alone, I sent out over 80 holiday cards--the money adds up (80 X .39 = 31.20 for the cards and 80 X .42 = 33.6 for postage, so total I spent around $65 to send some Holiday Cheer last year alone!) Now, of course, I will still have to purchase some cards and stamps for my friends and family that don't have or know how to use a computer, but this will be going to those that have email:)

Thanks We Craft For You for providing us with a prefect solution to our holiday card giving and for saving us some money!

Piggy Paint - Giveaway

For those who have been with me since the beginning of time, you will remember I did a review/giveaway on Piggy Paint...if you would like to read the review go here.

Well, Piggy Paint is back and they are sponsoring another giveaway!

About Piggy Paint:

My name is Melanie Hurley, founder of Piggy Paint™. I am a stay-at-home mom with two very fancy little girls, ages 2 and 4, who love to have their fingernails painted. I’ve always hated the thought of my kiddos putting their hands in their mouths after I painted their nails with traditional kid polishes. Not only did the ingestion of the chemicals worry me, but the smell nearly left me light-headed after painting two sets of fingernails and toenails.

One day while we were painting nails over a foam plate, my daughter dropped a glob of her solvent-based polish onto the plate. Shortly after, the paint began to bubble and “ate” through the plate. I looked in dismay at the hole in the plate and decided to test all of her other “kid” polishes on the foam. Within minutes, ALL of the solvent-based polishes began to bubble and eventually left big holes in the plate. From that day on, I decided that any flammable substance that could eat through foam was unacceptable for my children’s fingernails, which would inevitably end up in their mouths.

My quest was on, and Piggy Paint™ was born. As you may have guessed, our polish is NOT flammable and sits beautifully on the unaffected foam. We hope you enjoy this water-based polish that is specially formulated of natural ingredients. Finally, a kid-friendly polish without the accompanying drawbacks of traditional polishes. It is free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone... and made in the USA!

WIN IT: One lucky Gobs of Giveaways reader will win a $15 gift certificate to Piggy Paint!

To Enter: (remember to leave each entry in a separate comment box or it won't count)

Bare Skin Eau De Parfum - Review

I recently was giving the opportunity to try Bare Skin Eau De Parfum from Mom Fuse. I must admit, I don't think that I have any Parfum sitting in my bathroom closet--it sounds so elegant and sophisticated. And come to find it, Bare Skin is just the new scent I have been after!

It's light, fresh and airy. I think that it is best described here: With emotional undertones throughout, the scent takes you from day to night with top notes of Black Pepper, Freesia and Anise that evoke the morning breeze coming through the window and the anticipation of the day ahead.

While Bare Skin is not overbearing, I still felt like at the end of the night I could still smell it.

Thanks Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries for a wonderful new smell to add to my collection.

About Bare Skin:

Inspired by entrepreneurial powerhouse Leslie Blodgett’s dynamic life, Leslie Blodgett Perfume Diaries is a limited edition fragrance collection, created exclusively for Sephora, that revisits and evokes pivotal moments in Leslie’s life. Having kept journals since she was a young girl, Leslie has captured the essence of every trip she has taken through the pages of her journals. With the release of its first fragrance Bare Skin on 10/08, these pages have been brought to life through scent, enabling Leslie’s ardent fans to walk a fragrant mile in her shoes.

Bare Skin, the first scent in the series, is reminiscent of an experience during a trip to Mexico, where Leslie cart-wheeled fancy-free down a sunny beach while emanating true, unbridled joy. “When I have an experience, I like to have a scent behind it. Bare Skin, which is what Mexico reminds me of, is the way you feel when the sun is beating down on you during the day, but then you go out at night and you’re still sizzling from the warmth of the day which mingles with the night air and the music.”

“Glowing, sun-kissed skin has the power to turn heads. I wanted to recreate that attractive force with notes that draw you in: creamy sensuality, caressing florals and uninhibited musk,” says Stephen Nilsen, the celebrated Givaudan perfumer who helped concoct Bare Skin. “With Bare Skin, you will find yourself basking in the sun, with your feet in the sand, after one spritz.”

BUY IT: You can purchase the Bare Skin Eau De Parfum 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray for $55.00.

All pictures are compliments of Sephora.

K'NEX - Review

Thanks to Team Mom and K'NEX, B is racing around the kitchen floor with his new Police Car Building Set. Now, at the ripe age of 17 months, B can't really put the pieces of the police car in the correct order, but he sure tries:) When he finally gets frustrated with the car, it's M to the rescue!

I love K'NEX because it develops B's hand-eye coordination as well as his thinking and problem-solving skills. B loves the bright colors and well, let's face it, Elmo as the driver of the car, makes it one of B's favorite. He calls it his Melmo:)

Thanks K'NEX for a great toy that will last!

K’NEX is also holding a Make a K’NEXion contest. Now you and your readers have the chance to win over $1,000 worth of K’NEX Toys and be featured on the KNEX.com web site. How? Make a video and include select K’NEX products. The possibilities are endless. Construct your own story or showcase your child’s K’NEX building skills - use your imagination! Go here for official rules.

This is what K'NEX believes:

We believe that the company can be financially successful while behaving in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.

We believe that our product, K'NEX, is unique and worthwhile; that it is capable of enriching the lives of those who use it, both through pure enjoyment and through its educational impact; and that these genuine qualities must be sustained with all the innovation and creativity we can muster.

We believe that K'NEX is as safe as human ingenuity can make it, and we must make this intrinsic in every design we devise and publish.

We believe that the company has a responsibility to provide a safe and fulfilling work environment, and an opportunity to grow and learn.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Police Car Building Set for $10.99.
